Sending Email to a Patient
Your friends and family may send email to any patient at Mary Free Bed. The email will be printed and delivered to the appropriate patient. Please note: Animated greetings do not print well. We suggest that e-cards have little or no animation so the entire message can be printed on paper.
Two ways to send an email:
1. Directly through any email account:
In the “To” field, type: patient@maryfreebed.com
In the “Subject” field, type the patient’s full name so we know who to give the email to

2. From the Mary Free Bed Web site
Click on the “Email a Patient” button
Follow the instructions provided

Please note that patient privacy laws prohibit Mary Free Bed staff from giving out patient room numbers. Our staff will ensure your correspondence is received by the correct patient even if you do not indicate the patient's room.
Sending Plants, Fresh Flowers, and Balloons
Due to latex allergies, Mary Free Bed patients cannot accept latex balloons. Please send patients only Mylar balloons (shiny silver on one side and filled with helium). Deliveries arriving in the patient's name (such as flowers, plants, or balloons) are taken to his or her room by Mary Free Bed staff.
