Valuables Policy
We cannot be responsible for personal items. Valuables, such as jewelry or money, should be sent home with family members. A nurse can temporarily store them in our safe until your family arrives. No more than $10 may be kept at your bedside. Up to $50 may be stored in our safe. The money will be kept in an envelope with a record of deposits, withdrawals, and balances. This becomes part of your patient record at the time of discharge. To access this money you will need to contact the patient care director or nursing supervisor.
