In 1982 when I was 8 years old, I was struck by an automobile while crossing the street. After being in a coma for three months and undergoing extensive rehabilitation at Mary Free Bed, I returned home to resume life with my family and friends. I am the middle child of three. From then on, I viewed life from a different perspective.

My love for the Tropics and travel motivate my paintings. I work with acrylics.

In addition, my mother is involved in the world of tea, which is an interest I share with her. Since it is very difficult to find holiday cards with a tea theme, I provide her with a tea-related work of art that is transformed into a greeting card each year. I’m in the process of developing a website for my tea cards.

Art has connected me to many new experiences and friends. It also helps me reflect on my feelings. My world continues to grow as I experience joy through painting and bring it to life on an easel.
