Phillip's Story
Phillip Siegel, Sr., contracted polio, paralyzing his right side, when he was 3. He’s had many surgeries throughout his life, and is able to walk with the use of a cane. Phil is a self-taught artist with an awareness of nature, and the beauty of Michigan’s outdoors, which is reflected in many of his drawings today.
His subject matter ranges from Michigan’s old barns, lighthouses, and scenic landscape to lovable birds and animals we see every day, with a real interest and concern for the endangered wildlife of our world.
