Medical Education
The Office of Medical Education at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital recognizes its responsibility to promote lifelong learning through the provision of well-designed educational experiences for physicians and other health care professionals. We strive to achieve our purpose by facilitating the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and initiatives to meet the changing needs and competencies of health care professionals. Continuing Medical Education (CME) topics include diverse clinical topics and activities with a focus on professional responsibilities related to patient safety and advocacy, new technologies, research, health care policy, ethics, and compliance. The CME Program encompasses seminars, workshops, lecture series and conferences, Grand Rounds, journal and Internet CME, self-study opportunities, remediation, and other innovative educational activities with an emphasis on relevance, personal effectiveness, and scientific integrity.
