Purpose

The Grand Rounds Lecture Series provides practitioners and health care professionals with an update on topics in rehabilitation medicine by:

Providing continuing medical education activities that assist physicians and health professionals to -

  • Enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Improve patient safety and quality of care
  • Meet the requirements of certification and licensure

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Michigan State Medical Society Committee on CME Accreditation through the joint sponsorship of the Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. The Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center is accredited by the Michigan State Medical Society Committee on CME Accreditation to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credit. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the education activity.
