Intensive Feeding Program – Speech-Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist

The Intensive Feeding Program at Mary Free Bed is a joint venture with Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Our multi-disciplinary team of clinical pediatric specialists works with children and their families to address factors that affect eating. As a speech-language pathologist or occupational therapist with the Feeding team, you’ll evaluate any problems your pediatric patient may have with swallowing and adjust the child’s diet, as needed. You’ll also make recommendations for treatment and teach techniques and skills for eating and drinking as well as help with fitting and customizing adaptive equipment.
