How do I apply for a job opening?

Once you’ve found a position you’d like to apply for, you’ll need to create an online profile and fill out an application. To do this, applicants must have a valid email address. If you don’t have an email address, you can set up a free email account with an online search engine such as Google or Yahoo!.

If you don't have access to a computer or need assistance with setting up your email account and filling out your online application, a computer is available in the Mary Free Bed Human Resources Department, located on the second floor of the Mary Free Bed Inpatient Building (directions). A human resources staff member will be close by if you need help or have questions. Human Resources is open 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Your local library also has free Internet access, which you can use to set up an email account and apply for jobs.

After you’ve set up your email account, you can begin your online application. In the Job Search section of the Mary Free Bed website, select the job you want to apply for then click on the Click Here to Apply Online link; this directs you to the applicant log-in screen. First-time applicants will select the Apply Now! link. Follow the online directions to complete your profile. Be sure to memorize or write down your log-in name and password.

After your profile is complete, you’ll fill out the job application. Again, just follow the online directions and be sure to save your work often by clicking on the Save Your Work Often button in the right-hand margin of the application screen. When you’re through filling out your application, click the Submit button.

Please note that to successfully complete the online application, please ensure that the Tools menu in your web browser is set to allow pop-up blockers, or at least that your pop-up blocker settings are set to allow www.healthcaresource.com. [Top]
