Mary Free Bed's Adaptive Kayak, Canoe, and Rowing Clinics

Gliding across the water’s surface in a kayak or canoe makes every ripple and breeze an event. At the Adaptive Kayak, Canoe, and Rowing Clinic, kayakers, canoers, and rowers learn to use their boats with the least amount of adaptive equipment possible so they can escape across the water.

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital's Adaptive Kayak and Canoe Clinic allows patients and former patients to spend a relaxing day gliding through the water.Adaptive Kayak, Canoe, &  Rowing Clinic

Canoeing, kayaking, and rowing are activities available to individuals with various types of disabilities including, spinal cord injury, visual impairments, brain injury, stroke, cerebral palsy, and amputee.  Individuals are assessed individually to determine if adaptive equipment is needed.
