Spinal Cord Injury Clinic
Patients who are followed by their Mary Free Bed doctors are seen for periodic rehabilitation checkups in the spinal cord injury clinic setting.
Care in the spinal cord injury clinic is directed by their physiatrist, and will involve other specialists, as indicated. Spinal cord injury nurses and therapists also monitor the patient's post-discharge status during these clinic visits. This enables us to provide ongoing rehabilitation management in addressing patients’ changing needs. The Spinal Cord Injury Clinic additionally serves as a resource to individuals who may have not been prior Mary Free Bed inpatients.
