Preparing for Your Visit to the Motion Analysis Center
What you need to bring to the Motion Analysis Center
Close-fitting bike/exercise shorts (if you have them; otherwise borrow ours). These allow the motion analysis cameras a better view of your legs and the reflectors taped on them. They also help preserve your modesty during our detailed physical examination.
(Girls) Swimsuit top or sports bra that will permit access to your sternum (breast bone), spine, and lower torso. Boys may go without a shirt.
For walking test:
Any assistive device (walker, cane, crutches, etc.) that you use on a daily basis for walking.
Any ankle or leg brace (AFO, KAFO, etc.) or shoe lift that you use on a daily basis for walking.
