Lokomat®Pro: The Lokomat Pro is a robot-assisted technology designed to help injured children and adults regain their ability to walk. It uses a special treadmill equipped with robotic “legs” for patients with spinal cord, brain, stroke, or other neurological injuries “remember” the pattern of walking again.
Ness H200 Hand Rehabilitation System: The Ness H200 helps with reaching, grasping and opening and closing the hand. The device uses electrical stimulation to activate hand and forearm nerves to help patients get back to activities of daily living.
Ness L300 Foot Drop System: For those with certain neurological conditions, the L300 can help develop a more graceful, quicker walking pattern, as well as increased speed and improved balance. The system delivers electrical stimulation to activate nerves and muscles that lift the foot.
SaeboFlex: For patients with neurological impairments affecting hand and wrist function is the SaeboFlex. This mechanical orthosis positions the wrist and fingers for functional activities. The user is able to grasp objects voluntarily and the extension spring system assists in re-opening the hand to release objects.
LiteGait®: The LiteGait is for patients who have suffered a stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, or other neurological damage. The LiteGait uses a harness system that overlays a treadmill where walking is practiced with the help of therapists. LiteGait therapy helps with balance, posture and mobility.
Neuromuscular Biofeedback: With biofeedback, patients with neuromuscular damage can re-educate muscles that are working improperly, or not at all. During biofeedback, an electrical signal passes from an electrode placed over the affected muscle to an attached computer monitor. Using visual and audio cues, biofeedback helps the brain reconnect with parts of the body it wasn’t communicating with before.
GIGER MD® Therapy: This full-body technology helps train the central nervous system to regain function and sensitivity. It works by giving audio and visual feedback in coordination with movement of all limbs. The patient can monitor movements and re-educate muscles to move more naturally.
WalkAide®: The WalkAide is a lower-leg device designed to counter foot drop, a form of leg paralysis or weakness. The WalkAide electrically stimulates the appropriate nerves and muscles in the leg so patients with foot drop can walk more naturally and efficiently.
