Stroke Mentor Program

Youand your significant other can be paired with a former stroke patient and his or her significant other. Mary Free Bed's stroke mentors complete a formal mentoring program designed by the American Stroke Association. Mentors are carefully chosen and provide you with the support you need. Your mentor visits you during your inpatient stay at Mary Free Bed and continues to meet with you after you return home.

Stroke Support Group

The goal of our very successful Stroke Support Group is to provide a forum for stroke survivors and family members to meet and learn about adjusting to the changes a stroke brings to your life and your family's lives. Monthly evening meetings are educational and fun.

We’ll send you a monthly flyer that will tell you about the next meeting. The group also has three social events each year: a summer picnic, a spring potluck, and a holiday party.
