Amputee Inpatient Care

Patients must be medically stable, able to participate in three hours of therapy per day, able to demonstrate progress, and have an identified discharge site to be admitted to 24-hour-a-day care at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Their stay can range from a few days to a few weeks focusing on medical management of their stump, regaining strength and endurance, functional mobility, activities of daily living, and adjustment to disability.
