Location and Parking Information

The Motion Analysis Center is located in downtown Grand Rapids in Mary Free Bed's newest facility, the Mary Ives Hunting Center. Free parking is available directly under the Hunting Center with elevator access to Level 3, or in the parking garage attached to the east end of both the Hunting Center and the Professional Building.

Directions East (from Lansing):


  • I-96 to I-196 westbound to (watch for fork in the road at I-196 just after Beltline; stay left
  • Continue on I-196 to College Street exit. (Exit 78)
  • Turn left on College Street (going south) to Wealthy Street
  • Turn right on Wealthy (west)
  • Turn right on Lafayette (there is a light at this intersection)
  • Parking ramp located on Lafayette, first drive on the right after Wealthy Street

Going home: Take Lafayette (right turn out of parking ramp) north to Michigan Avenue and turn RIGHT. Go to College Street and turn LEFT. Take I-196 east toward Lansing.

West (from Muskegon/Grand Haven):


  • I-96 eastbound to US-131 south
  • South on US-131 to Wealthy exit (exit 84A)
  • Turn left on Wealthy to Lafayette (there is a light at this intersection)
  • Turn left on Lafayette
  • Parking ramp located on Lafayette, first drive on right after Wealthy Street

North (from Rockford/Big Rapids):


  • South on US-131 to Wealthy Street exit (exit 84A)
  • Turn left on Wealthy to Lafayette (there is a light at this intersection)
  • Turn left on Lafayette
  • Parking ramp located on Lafayette, first drive on right after Wealthy Street

South (from Kalamazoo):


  • US-131 northbound to Wealthy Street (exit 84A); exit will be on your left
  • Turn right on Wealthy to Lafayette (there is a light at this intersection)
  • Turn left on Lafayette
  • Parking ramp located on Lafayette, first drive on right after Wealthy Street

Southwest (from Holland):


  • I-196 to College St. exit (exit 78)
  • Turn right on College (going south) to Wealthy Street
  • Turn right on Wealthy (west)
  • Turn right on Lafayette (there is a light at this intersection)
  • Parking ramp located on Lafayette, first drive on right after Wealthy Street
