The Lacks Cancer Center will recognize National Cancer Survivors Day with a celebratory, family-friendly community event from 1-3 pm on Tuesday, June 14 in the 5th floor of the Lacks Cancer Center.
The event is open to cancer survivors and their loved ones. It will include refreshments, chair massages from Mind Body Spirit, hand massages from the Boutique, pet therapy and information about community resources, including Mary Free Bed, Gilda’s Club, American Cancer Society, Komen of Michigan, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and YMCA’s Livestrong Program. Oncology social workers, financial social workers and dietitians will attend.
