Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital has received a $35,000 Health Innovation Grant from the Michigan Department of Community Health. The money will support a cancer wellness and exercise initiative through Mary Free Bed’s Betty Bloomer Ford Cancer Rehabilitation Program.
The grants are intended to bridge the gap between good ideas and implementation of health services in Michigan. A total of $1.3 million was divided among 44 projects across the state.
