The Spinal Cord Injury Program at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital features a full continuum of care that includes inpatient, outpatient, and clinic services. We provide intensive, comprehensive, coordinated multidisciplinary rehabilitation for individuals who have experienced spinal cord injury, whether due to trauma or disease. Our goal is to restore our patients’ hope and freedom by maximizing their level of independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Our nursing floor features a pleasantly decorated family-friendly unit with two social areas, a kitchenette, laundry facilities, and a patient library. Our therapy gym offers state-of-the-art equipment and ample treatment space. Mary Free Bed offers a variety of specialized therapy areas designed to make rehabilitation from a spinal cord injury quicker, smoother, and more effective. These include: Independence Square™, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) apartment, practice car, therapeutic pool, and an outdoor Therapath.
