Our catalog of education options serves multiple disciplines, including physicians, nurses, therapists, psychologists, care managers, social workers, administrators, athletic trainers, dietitians and students.

Offerings are presented by individuals and teams of experts in their field, so you’ll learn the latest, evidence-based information, best practices and clinical skills on a range of topics.

To help you meet changing needs and competencies in caregiving, we provide online access to a variety of educational offerings, such as:

  • In-person or virtual conferences, symposiums, workshops

Experts deliver the latest clinical information and news on a wide variety of educational topics with new topics added regularly.

Continuing Education Credit Information

Opportunities for continuing education focus on professional responsibilities related to patient safety and advocacy, new technologies, research, health care policy, ethics and compliance.

Our goals:

  • Increase awareness of new techniques, technologies and therapeutic modalities and how their applications impact patient care in a rehabilitation setting
  • Provide an update on diseases affecting the rehabilitation process
  • Discuss rehabilitation treatments and approaches
  • Identify areas of liability for self, peers and other health care professionals
  • Sharpen the skills and expertise of professional staff by reinforcing the principles of examination, assessment and evaluation
  • Increase practitioners’ awareness of health policy issues and the effects on patient care
  • Discuss practice management topics

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by the Michigan State Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Approval number: WNA 0581

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital (BOC AP# P10176) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to athletic trainers.
