This includes:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>A detailed review of your child\u2019s medical history<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Input from other healthcare providers<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Observation of feeding behaviors and skills<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Recommendations for safe positioning and textures.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nWhen needed, a registered dietitian provides additional nutrition support to ensure your child\u2019s dietary needs are met\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h2><strong>Videofluoroscopic Swallow Study (VFSS)<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nThis specialized test provides a real-time X-ray view of how your child swallows. It helps our team see what happens inside the mouth and throat during eating or drinking and identify any aspiration (when food or liquid enters the airway).\r\n\r\nVFSS studies are available at the Mary Free Bed Grand Rapids Campus, with same-day initial results and treatment recommendations. Ongoing therapy can then continue at Mary Free Bed Kids \u2013 Holland or other convenient locations.\r\n<h2><\/h2>\r\n<h2><strong>Feeding Therapy<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nFeeding therapy is at the heart of what we do.
