To create the best possible experience for our guests, we’ve organized a series of preview events tailored to specific audiences. Each event offers a unique perspective on Joan Secchia Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital and is designed to provide meaningful opportunities for exploration.

Whether you’re a donor, community partner, physician, team member, patient family or community leader, there’s an event designed with you in mind.

Note: RSVPs are required for all events, including the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. When registering, be sure to indicate which event you plan to attend.

Event Details

All events feature displays of hospital renderings, project information, refreshments and opportunities to explore. Guided small group tours will be available at each event, supported by designated hosts. For guests who prefer a self-guided experience, there will be informational checkpoints throughout the building.

Monday, November 2

Mary Free Bed Team Member Open House

11 AM–2 PM

Created for Mary Free Bed team members who helped bring this vision to life and will play a role in caring for patients in the new hospital.

Leadership & Legacy Supporter Open House

3–6 PM

Designed for members of the Mary Free Bed Guild, Foundation Board, Hospital Board and Flourish Society in recognition of their leadership, advocacy and longstanding commitment to our mission.

Tuesday, November 3

Community Partner and Referral Network Open House

10 AM–1 PM

Welcoming corporate partners, community organizations, health care partners, physicians, case managers and referral sources who help connect children and families to the care and resources they need.

Thursday, November 5

Campaign Donor & Health System Leadership Reception

3–6 PM

An exclusive reception for campaign donors and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation and Corewell Health leaders whose vision, partnership and investment helped make Joan Secchia Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital possible.
