Shannon is a certified prosthetist/orthotist specializing in pediatric orthotics. She’s passionate about guiding parents through the cranial remolding treatment process in a way that makes them feel comfortable and empowered. She holds a master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Baylor College of Medicine.
Lyndzie is a certified orthotist/prosthetist who primarily works with inpatient orthotics, as well as with outpatient prosthetics. She has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and art from Hope College and a master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from California State University.
Robbie is a certified prosthetist/orthotist and clinical liaison. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Gannon University and a master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University.
Melissa specializes in cranial remolding, successfully treating thousands of infants with head shape deformities using the STARband cranial orthoses. Her cranial research has been published in the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics. Melissa realizes that every infant is an individual with specific needs and looks forward to getting to know you and your family as we work together to set goals for your child’s needs.
Steven is a certified prosthetist/orthotist specializing in upper limb prosthetics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University. Steven earned multiple certifications in upper and lower extremity technologies, including myoelectric hands and microprocessor knees and feet.
Stephanie is a certified prosthetist/orthotist who specializes in lower limb prosthetics and pediatric orthotics. She has a bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Northwestern University.
Robert is a certified prosthetist/orthotist and assistant professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He specializes in pediatric and upper limb prosthetics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University and a certificate in prosthetics and orthotics from New York University – Post Graduate Medical School.
Daniel is a certified prosthetist and certified technician in prosthetics and orthotics. He specializes in lower extremity prosthetics, focusing on complex fabrication cases, elevated vacuum, microprocessor-driven components and osseointegration. Daniel was born in Israel, where he grew up learning the family orthotics and prosthetics business.
Kim is a certified orthotic assistant, fitter and technician. She’s worked at Mary Free Bed Orthotics for over 30 years in many different departments, including the fabrication lab and outreach clinics. She’s currently assisting with orthotic pediatrics.
Hannah is a certified fitter in orthotics, mastectomy, and therapeutic and diabetic shoes. She has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Saginaw Valley State University
Stephanie is an amputee care liaison and occupational therapist. She enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes for patients. Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Grand Valley State University.
Rachael is a certified prosthetist/orthotist, specializing in treating pediatric patients. She’s published in the Journal of Prosthetics and Orthotics for her cranial remolding helmet work. A graduate of Michigan State University and Northwestern University Prosthetic-Orthotic Center, she completed both her orthotic and prosthetic residencies at Mary Free Bed Orthotics, Prosthetics and Bionics.
Jim is a certified prosthetist/orthotist specializing in lower extremity prosthetics. He holds multiple certifications in microprocessor knees/feet. He holds degrees from Central Michigan University and Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center.
Connie is a certified orthotist who specializes in pediatrics. She focuses on lower and upper limb pediatric orthotics, as well as scoliosis orthotics. She’s a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center.
Katy is a certified prosthetist/orthotist who sees patients with upper and lower extremity prosthetics. She completed undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and later earned a master’s degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University. She joined Mary Free Bed in 2017.
Brittany is a certified orthotist who specializes in general orthotics. She enjoys pediatric postoperative care and scoliosis bracing, in addition to helping patients with neuromuscular disorders. She received her bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University and a post-bachelor’s degree certificate from Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center. She has been with Mary Free Bed since her residency in 2013.
Molly is a certified prosthetist/orthotist who specializes in general orthotics and sees patients of all ages. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals by delivering personalized care. Molly earned her bachelor's degree in bioengineering from Ohio State University, and her master's degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University.
