Your Recovery Journey at Mary Free Bed

Inpatient Rehabilitation

Inpatient rehabilitation is often recommended for injured workers recovering from serious work injuries who need intensive therapy before returning to work. At Mary Free Bed, every therapy plan is personalized for the injured worker’s specific needs and vocational goals. The duration and intensity of your inpatient therapy program is driven by these goals. Typically, patients engage in three hours of therapy, five days a week. Weekends are reserved for rest and family visits.

Your personalized care plan is designed to support your success both during your stay at Mary Free Bed and after you transition home. By coordinating closely with your workers’ compensation claims team and our clinical experts, we help ensure your post-inpatient care is the right fit for your needs and recovery goals.

Outpatient Therapy

Our multidisciplinary therapy clinics provide comprehensive medical care and support for individuals recovering from workplace injuries, no matter the complexity. Whether you’ve completed our inpatient rehabilitation program or were referred directly for outpatient services, you’ll work with therapists who specialize in both your diagnosis and the unique requirements of workers’ compensation care.

Your Outpatient Team is tailored to your needs and may include a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, rehabilitation nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, amputee care liaisons and certified prosthetist-orthotists. Together, this coordinated team focuses on helping you achieve your return-to-work goals and meaningful functional progress.
