Troy Kunst, CPO | KALAMAZOO SITE LEADER
Troy is a certified prosthetist/orthotist with experience across the orthotics and prosthetics spectrum of care. He received his graduate degree in orthotics and prosthetics from Northwestern University and has worked in the field since 2007. Troy is passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care and empowering his team and the next generation of clinicians to do the same through coaching and teaching.
Abigail Dykema, CPO
Abigail is a board-eligible prosthetist/orthotist. She was born and raised in Kalamazoo, MI. She first learned about the field while completing her undergraduate biomedical engineering degree at Valparaiso University. She received her master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Baylor College of Medicine in 2023.
Ashley Mills | REGIONAL OFFICE SUPERVISOR
Ashley leads our patient service representatives in our Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo offices. She has over 20 years of experience in customer and patient relations. Before joining Mary Free Bed, Ashley led an Emergency Department billing team and worked for a renowned podiatry practice. She enjoys coordinating closely with our expert clinicians to help restore hope and freedom to every one of our patients.
Alisha Simons, CPO
Alisha is a certified prosthetist/orthotist who works with patients with congenital limb differences, amputations, orthotics and cranial remolding needs. Alisha has a passion for helping people in her community achieve their goals and encouraging them to try old and new activities. She works with amputees who are involved in running and cycling sports. Her favorite part of the job is thinking outside the box to find creative solutions for patients. She earned her associates degree in orthotics and prosthetics technology from Baker College of Flint and continued her education at Eastern Michigan University where she received a master’s in orthotics and prosthetics.
Julia Wright, CPO
Julia is a certified prosthetist/orthotist. She began working in the field as a technician while earning her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Purdue University-Indianapolis. During her senior research project, she began studying pediatric orthotics and the effects on gait kinematics. She received her master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Northwestern University in 2021.
