Rotation Schedule

A sample rotation schedule is included below. All residents participate in 13, four-week blocks per academic year. Residents start in their PGY-2 year, beginning with more inpatient experience. As the years progress, there is a transition toward more outpatient experiences. 

Additionally, our residents are able to participate in six total elective blocks, the maximum allowed by the ACGME, to ensure our residents are able to cater their training to their individual interests. Residents are able to return for additional experience in a previously-completed rotation or design their own elective rotation (including research) with faculty assistance.
