Quarterly Workshop Aimed at Helping Cancer Patients Take Charge of Wellness

September 26, 2025

Cancer comes with many challenges to navigate. To help people manage symptoms and provide support, Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital has been partnering with Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids to host Cancer Rehabilitation Education and Wellness (CREW) workshops throughout the year.

This month’s workshop, on Thursday, October 2, will focus on cancer-related fatigue. Anyone with a cancer diagnosis and family can attend sessions in-person or virtually to get tips on movement, nutrition and self-care to help them feel stronger and take charge of their wellness.

The CREW education series is a collaborative effort between Mary Free Bed resident physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists and social workers from Gilda’s Club. Click here to find out more information, or check out the flyer below.
