Regaining Your Balance, Restoring Your Life

The Mary Free Bed Vestibular Rehabilitation Program treats patients with vestibular or balance disorders to improve their balance, functional independence, and safety. Our team of specialists provides personalized therapy to help individuals regain stability and confidence in their daily lives.

Understanding Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation focuses on treating balance disorders that affect the vestibular system, which includes parts of the inner ear and brain that help control balance and eye movements.

Our program addresses a variety of vestibular conditions to enhance patients’ overall well-being.

Who is Eligible?

Effective vestibular rehabilitation is crucial for restoring balance and reducing the risk of falls. By improving vestibular function, patients can enhance their overall quality of life, regain independence, and ensure safety in their daily activities.

Our Vestibular Rehabilitation Program is designed for individuals experiencing vestibular or balance disorders, including:

  • Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
  • Unilateral or bilateral peripheral vestibular hypo- or hyper-function
  • Central vestibular disorders following stroke or brain injury

Personalized Treatment Plans

Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation conducted by a physical therapist. This specialist may use various tests and assessment tools to determine the most appropriate care for you.

Based on the evaluation, we develop an individualized vestibular rehabilitation and treatment plan. Your plan may include:
