College Student Volunteer Program

This program is designed for undergraduate students pursuing careers in physical, occupational or recreational therapy, as well as those interested in nursing.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assisting therapists with cleaning and organizing therapy gyms
  • Helping set up before and after therapy sessions
  • Supporting floor nurses with staff and patient needs.

Students are expected to volunteer on the same day each week for a 13- to 15-week session, with shifts lasting three to four hours. Most volunteers receive 40-50 service hours per session, with the potential for 10-15 observation hours, though these are not guaranteed.
