Mary Free Bed names Chief Nursing Officer
Grand Rapids, Mich. – Nursing executive Ingrid Cheslek has joined Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital as Chief Nursing Officer. Cheslek spent more than three decades at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, Mich., serving in a number of capacities, most recently as Vice President of Patient Services/Chief Nursing Officer.
“We’re impressed with Ingrid’s track record of career accomplishments, especially her ability to create new programs, lead high-performing teams and achieve exceptional patient experience outcomes,” said Mary Fee Bed CEO Kent Riddle.
This spring, Mary Free Bed moved all inpatient services into a new building specifically designed for rehabilitation. With more than double the number of inpatient beds and several new programs in the development phase, Riddle believes Cheslek provides critical expertise for the growing Mary Free Bed.
“It’s an amazing place to be,” Cheslek said. “Between the specialized staff and the latest technology, we’re bringing a level of rehabilitation to our community that hasn’t existed here before. I’m extraordinarily honored to be part of the Mary Free Bed team.”
