Michael Huhn, CO | SITE LEADER

Michael is a certified orthotist who’s served the Lansing area for 10 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Michigan and a master’s in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University.

Robbie Bennett, CPO

Robbie is a certified prosthetist/orthotist. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Gannon University and a master’s in orthotics and prosthetics at Eastern Michigan University. Robbie completed his prosthetic residency at Springer Prosthetics & Orthotics Services and his orthotics residency with Mary Free Bed O&P+B.

Andrew Malewitz, CP

A certified prosthetist completing an orthotics residency with Mary Free Bed O&P+B, Andrew completed a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University and a master’s in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University.

Rachel Oprins | REGIONAL OFFICE SUPERVISOR

Rachel is the administrative leader for the Lansing, Saginaw and Troy offices. During her time at Mary Free Bed, she’s received the C.A.R.E.S. (Customers Always Receive Exceptional Service) award and completed a nine-month mentorship program under the Vice President of Patient Access. Rachel received her degree from the University of Michigan. She joined Mary Free Bed in 2018.

Bill Simon, CPO

Bill is a certified prosthetist/orthotist with 20 years of experience in the field. He primarily works with the mobile van unit covering Mid-Michigan. He also sees patients in the Lansing and Saginaw offices. Bill graduated from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and completed both his residencies in Michigan. He holds multiple certifications and trainings, including in microprocessor knees and feet.

Angela Hall, MSOTRL

Angela is an Amputee Care Liaison stationed at the Lansing and Grand Rapids clinics. As an occupational therapist, she has worked in a variety of different settings from home care to inpatient rehabilitation. She’s committed to providing a team-oriented approach for amputee patients and being part of the journey to help restore their quality of life. Angela is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with her bachelor’s in biomedical science and master’s in occupational therapy.

Elizabeth Ward, CPO

Elizabeth is a certified prosthetist/orthotist with 12 years of experience. Her expertise lies in developing and implementing effective strategies for patients to maximize their mobility and independence. She believes that helping people return to their previous activities with a new outlook on mobility and health takes the attentive and thoughtful communication of a team. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in preventative rehabilitative programs and completed her graduate studies in prosthetics and orthotics at Northwestern University.
