How do I send a message?

How do I request a MyMaryFreeBed account?

To request an account, you must be 18 years old or older, a current patient or have recently had service at Mary Free Bed. You can request a MyMaryFreeBed patient portal account upon registration.

Self-enrollment also is available for Mary Free Bed patients who are 18 years old or older who don’t currently have access to MyMaryFreeBed. Complete the Self-Enrollment for MyMaryFreeBed form.

Can I request a My Mary Free Bed account for my child?

Yes! If you manage the health of a patient, talk with the patient’s health care provider during his or her next visit to receive a personal invitation to MyMaryFreeBed. Self-enrollment is not available for caregivers or guardians.

I sent a private message to my clinician. How soon will I receive a response?

My Mary Free Bed secure messages are processed during normal business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Please allow up to 24 hours to receive a confirmation and response to your secure message.

I sent an appointment request. How soon will I receive a response?

Online scheduling requests are processed during regular business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Please allow up to 24 hours to receive confirmation of an appointment request. Please note that appointment requests are not actual appointments. If we can’t accommodate your request, we’ll contact you to suggest alternate choices.

Can I pay my bill online?

Mary Free Bed offers several options for secure online bill pay, depending on the type of rehabilitation services you’ve received. Click here for more information.

I’m trying to message a physician, but I can’t find her/him on the list.

Our physician clinics use a different portal called Athena. Click here to access the Athena portal, which can be used for outpatient physician messaging. Call 616.840.8224 if you don’t have an Athena account and have seen a physician in our outpatient clinic.

If you don’t have an Athena portal account and have questions about a recent inpatient stay, please contact the case manager listed on your discharge instructions. A copy of those instructions is available in MyMaryFreeBed for easy reference.
