Description: The mission of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) is to continuously improve health care for the public by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care. This presentation will summarize the JCAHO process and its importance, and how healthcare professionals can play a role in the survey process.
