Brian Paulson employee headshotBrian Paulson, CPO | SITE LEADER

Brian is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist who serves as the site leader for the Saginaw location. He specializes in high-end orthotic technology such as microprocessor-controlled braces. He treats children for a variety of orthotic needs such as cranial remolding helmets and lower extremity orthoses.
Before joining Mary Free Bed, Brian treated patients at Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado, an internationally recognized brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation hospital. He attended graduate school for orthotics and prosthetics in Connecticut in 2006.

Rachel is the administrative leader for the Lansing, Saginaw and Troy offices. During her time at Mary Free Bed, she’s received the C.A.R.E.S. (Customers Always Receive Exceptional Service) award and completed a nine-month mentorship program under the Vice President of Patient Access. Rachel received her degree from the University of Michigan. She joined Mary Free Bed in 2018.

 

Chad Conroy, MSOTRL

Chad is an Amputee Care Liaison who works in the Saginaw and Troy clinics. He worked with patients with limb differences for 10 years prior to taking this role. His favorite part of the job is assisting patients during the healing process after an amputation and helping them navigate their recovery. Before joining Mary Free Bed in 2021, he worked at Henry Ford Hospital and Beaumont Hospital in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Chad has a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Grand Valley State University.

Leah is a Certified Orthotic Fitter of prefabricated braces. She has performed different roles within the orthotics and prosthetics field over the past 7 years and recently moved into a clinical role, completing her fitter certification in 2021. Leah especially enjoys working with pediatric patients and assisting the cranial remolding team.

Ben is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist with 9 years of experience, specializing in lower extremity prosthetics. Ben is passionate about outreach work in the field and has participated in the Range of Motion project in Guatemala to bring orthotics and prosthetics services to the underserved.

A Certified Orthotic Fitter, David works with orthopedic patients and trains Covenant staff and residents in fracture management and immobilization. David first started in the medical field as a paramedic – filling various roles over the years as a certified orthopedic technologist, orthopedic physician assistant and orthopedic surgery first assist.
