The Mary Free Bed Day Rehab Program is a multidisciplinary program designed for people who require intensive rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting.
Our goal is to coordinate therapeutic care and resources so you can smoothly — and efficiently — transition to your home, work and community environments.
After an initial evaluation, you’ll begin a rehabilitation schedule that may include four-hour sessions (8 a.m. – noon or 1-5 p.m.) for two to five days each week. Each session includes three hours of therapy (physical, occupational, speech-language) and one hour left open to interact with the rehabilitation nurse, rest or explore other rehabilitation resources.
Your team’s close communication and collaboration promotes a better outcome in less time. Your rehabilitation schedule may be adjusted based on your insurance plan and benefits.
Your family and friends are an important part of the rehabilitation process. We provide education and encourage your family members to engage in therapy, when appropriate. We ask that a caregiver attend sessions and remain on site to help you with any health or personal tasks, such as taking medications or using the restroom.
