Bikes for the Rest of Us

Riding a bike used to be out of the question for those with special needs. But it isn’t anymore. Bikes for the Rest of Us is an annual event at Mary Free Bed that introduces children and adults with disabilities to the sport of adaptive bicycling. Participants are individually paired with a therapist and evaluated to determine the necessary adaptations that will enable them to pedal alongside their able-bodied friends
Important Information:
Register early! Space is limited. Evaluation registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If applicant is seeking financial aid, a copy of his/her 2017 Federal tax and/or SSA documentation must be submitted with application in order to be registered for the event.
Evaluation registration deadline is Friday, April 13.
Applicants will be notified by email on their scheduled evaluation times.
Refreshments will be available.
